Do you have to be a Christian or a believer to receive services at Windham Psychiatry?
Absolutely not, we welcome everyone regardless of religious views. You can request that scripture is not used during therapy and can decline us praying with you during your appointment. However, we do have scriptures displayed around the office and we will still pray for you during our morning prayer when covering each patient that we will be encountering that day. What languages are spoken? At this time, English is the only language fluently spoken. We hope to expand in the near future and plan to hire someone who is bilingual- however at this time if you are unable to speak and understand English fluently - you will need to bring a trusted individual with you that will be able to translate in order to receive optimal care. How long is the wait? We believe that your time is valuable and strive to provide high quality treatment in a timely manner. On average your expected wait time is 15-20 minutes, however, please understand that there are circumstances that require the provider to spend more than the scheduled amount of time in order to provide the best treatment to every patient, this can result in longer than expected wait times. We ask that you please be patient and understanding as we promise to also spend more time than allotted with you as well if it is you who may be going through something that requires a more time-lengthy appointment. You are also welcome to call the office ahead of time to verify if the provider is running on schedule that day. |
